A City on stilts: Thief Gang

Following the idea of skilled thieves gang in the slums underneath a city raised on iron stilts would climb them up, I thought about the structure of  it. Naturally there will be thieves that would be strong and lean enough to take the massive task of successfully climbing the high pillars unseen. I called them obtainers. There would  be a person moving the goods and taking commissions - a head - on the right. He is fat and he would have more decorations similar to the rich. And there would be keepers who would be those big masses of muscle to protect fight whoever the head tells them to fight. A triangle would be the differentiating mark of the gang and it will be tattooed on their bodies as shown  on the sketch below. It reflects the triangular structure of the group as well as symbolizing the climb the ascension of the thieves.

This is a sketch showing them together, reflecting their individualities and specialities:

After re-evaluating  my original design of an obtainer,  I realized that a gang can not be very powerful without owning something to differentiate it from all the copy cats. So it cold not be as simple as having a hook and a rope. Perhaps the gang is formed by people that used to be at the head of the metallurgy so they have access to a technology that would make it easier for them - magnets? Researching some magnetic and vacuum climbing equipment I made an intimidating climbing design of a series of magnets. Since it is so easily noticeable the character is cloaked. The 2 versions provide very different looks that would influece the look on the overall population of the city.
